(a) single polypeptide

(b) two polypeptides, having 21 and 30 amino acids in chain A and B respectively

(c) two polypeptides having 25 and 26 amino acids

(d) two polypeptides having 18 and 33 amino acids.

Answer (b) : 51 amino acids of insulin are arranged in two polypeptide chains, chain A having 21 amino acids and chain B having 30 amino acids. The two polypeptide chains are interconnected by two disulphide bridges.
